[AD] Indulge in a Pet Cruise to the islands around Singapore

Thanks to Petfie, Alexis, MikMikk and I were invited to a Pet Cruise – a private yacht cruise for pets. Our starting point was Marina Country Club, where we met the Petfie crew and Eunice Nah with her dog, Blessing (also a schnauzer!). As you can see, it was an amazing day:

Of course, selfies and picture taking ensued:

and off we went to Coney Island:

The doggies had a whale of a time frolicking in the sand:

And Blessing went in for a dip. Lifejackets for dogs are provided by the cruise too!

MikMikk on the other hand refused to get into the water, even after much coercion.

After all the swimming, Blessing fell asleep on the boat, while us humans indulged in chatter, drinks and snacks.

Once we were ready, we headed back to Marina Country Club. The doggies got to be captains:

All in all, I thought it was a pretty unique way of spending a few hours on a weekend. There are only so many things we can do with our pets here in Singapore… a pet cruise is really something different. You could have a birthday party for your pet on board!

It seems like it’s only been dogs enjoying the ride so far, but Skipper Joe mentioned that he’s totally open to having cats on board too. Not sure how that would pan out!!

If you’re interested in taking your pets out on a play date, here are the rates:

                   Wkend/PH  Wkday
2 to 3 pax         $200        $150
4 to 10 pax       $300        $200
Sunset Cruise  $250        $150
Each pet is counted as 1 pax, and the maximum pax the boat can take is 10. The price quoted is for booking the entire boat to yourself, and Joe is pretty flexible with the itinerary – just let him know where you want to go! If you have 10 pax on board, it costs just about $30 per pax (or $20 if you go on a weekday).
Cruises usually last about 2 hours, but if you prefer a longer cruise, each additional hour is charged at $100/$150 for weekday/weekend.
